The Audit and Governance Committee is Chaired by RMW who has admitted to agreeing every decision beforehand with Labour before it is implemented or goes to full council. Having done so, he is hardly likely to find fault with any such decision afterwards.

The Chair of Audit and Governance is supposed to be given to someone who is NOT from the ruling group; having RMW, a cuckoo Labour councillor himself, from the local Tories is the next best thing.

In return he gets a wholly disproportionate 3 seats on the Planning Committee - the ONLY committee that really matters to him and his self-proclaimed property developer status.

If you want to see this little arrangement in action then read his 'scrutiny' report into Manor Residents which concluded that everything was solely down to Wilcox and that no one else within the council bore any responsibility - including the two Labour councillors Paul Beck and Stephen Akers-Belcher who were both Trustees of Manor Residents and therefore had responsibility of making sure the organisation was properly run financially and not to mention the Leader of the Council, Christopher Akers-Belcher, who tried to blame the whole thing on the Charity Commission. A classic cover-up.

The Teesside Court judge calculated Wilcox's known proceeds of crime to be 137,000

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

I see all councillors involved in deciding who gets what are from the Rossmere/Manor/Rift House/Foggy Furze areas with two now from Foggy Furze. Has the Town Centre been moved to the Rifty?

It would help if a few of our larger councillors (fat cats) reduced their calorie intake, and donated  surplus food to the hunger scheme :) . One of them alone could support 5 kids for the whole summer with just 1 day calorie reduction.
