On the Hartlepool TV site there are 35 comments. 5 from themselves, 17 negative and 13 supportive or neutral.
On Hartlepool Post there are 20 comments, 2 from themselves, 12 negative and 6 supportive or neutral.
29 negative &  19 supportive.
By no stretch could anyone claim that ratio as 'overwhelming support'.
