Al-Baghdadi
« on: October 28, 2019, 11: AM »
The American Delta Force have finally nailed the walking scum, Al-Baghdadi.
He and his ilk will not be missed, in the civilised world.
Sadly, without doubt, another piece of rubbish will step up to the plate and claim the leadership of Izal.
However, when looking at the likely outcome of the cowardly way he destroyed himself and his children, one has to think, WHY are we still believing in a God?

No matter what name you wish to use, why do we, in this enlightened age, still claim there is an almighty being looking after us?
The earth is over 4 billion years old. Man first appeared around 60 million years ago. That is a hell of a discrepancy, time-wise.
Man has worshipped thousands of different 'Gods' over millions of years.
The Sun, Moon and stars have been, at one time, revered Gods. The Egyptians had many Gods, including praying to animals.

Then, after all of those years, a person appears and is called the Son of God. The story gathered pace and spread. People that couldn't read/write passed on, by word of mouth, 'happenings' and 'events' and the story grew.
It soon became 'industrialised', by people who realised there was money to be made. Then, approx 1,600 years ago, another religion was started by a person claiming 'insider knowledge' and 'happenings' and 'events' grew from that.

Since then we have had numerous people claiming 'divine power' and starting their own line of 'religion'. Most failed but some are still coining it in from gullible people, especially in America.

The point of all this is, we spend billions on sending rockets to outlying planets and galaxies, trying to find the beginning of the Earth and life on Earth, and at the same time, we are told that God made it in 6 days and rested on the 7th.
So why waste those billions on searching 'out there' if we already have the answer in the scriptures?
It is simply because of 2 reasons; 1) some people find comfort in believing in 'something' and 2) it is a multi billion pound/dollar/shekel/dinar industry.

Most wars have been started over land or religion. I believe, now we are sufficiently intelligent to use science to provide us with answers as to our existence, religion ought to be wound down to the nursery tales it so obviously is.
People can still cling on to the hope 'God' will cure their cancers, cure their children born with congenital defects etc. etc. but governments should not be perpetrating the myth, when science is proving the contrary.

I have seen much death & destruction that totally destroys the myth of religion and 'someone' looking after us.
As Ringo says, all we really need is "Peace and Love", not man-made religion.

Well here is a problem to start with for many in the world (not myself), try giving them these facts and see how far you get.
