The motion was regarding more openness, transparency, accountability etc etc and you are correct about it needing to be actioned, every councillor I know is in favour of the motions contents.

What happened last night was an attempt by the Pixies to hijack the constitutional process, they themselves voted in March on the constitutional changes, that constitutional position was fully explained to the labour members by both the Borough Solicitor and the Chief Executive.

Unfortunately for whatever reason they chose to oppose their advice and attempted to force through a debate on a point of order (and b****x to the constitution) it failed miserably and the only thing they managed to highlight was the fact that Cllr Richardson didn't know what day of the week it was.

I can now see how easy it was for the cabal to take them over and run them like performing seals. Always a mystery that, but now so very obvious.
