....fires back tonight's Mail over his suspension. It's not so much a broadside, more of a volley of cotton wool balls. It goes on a bit with a lot of repetition even mentioning 'There will be no change to the work I do as a community volunteer at the centre, which I effectively manage....' There's gushing praise for Barclay ('he's a great Councillor') and so it goes on  and on repeating his counterclaim endlessly, but I don't recall hearing any such thing until quite recently, before then nothing.
Despite all this, after reading the article repeatedly, at no point does he deny the claim, which surely would be your first reaction ? Will a denial be forthcoming?
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

The blatherings in the Mail will allow people who don't attend council meeting to realise just how badly he performs on the public stage, he constantly repeats himself and in real time fills in bits he can't remember with multiple errrrrr  errrrr eerrrrr.............Just how did he become a councillor errrrrr errrrrrrrr errrrrrrrrrr

Call Me Al

I recall that he delivered the eulogy at the funeral of a retired councillor and former mayor. He bumbled his way through that as well. Not the best at public speaking is SAB, in fact he regularly struggles to string a sentence together.

I remember a SAB chuntering in Chamber and it was truly cringe worthy. Mixed metaphors does not  even come close. A gem was when he was trying to explain how 'chuffed' he was over some trifle and it escaped as 'my shoulders heaved with pride'. He is as thick as they come but not that  more dumb than the rest of the pack, Mad Marj and the idiotic giggling Barclay. Cranney is likewise challenged but is under the delusion he can compensate by using his size  to silence opposition. Someone should remind him how 'hunched' he is looking (acromegaly?) and that pretty soon even Riddle will be able to blow him over with a fart!

I used to deliberately submit questions in writing to the committee Cranney was head of, partly because I knew he'd have to read the answer out loud in full council.

Sometimes I'd try and put words in the question which I was confident he wouldn't be able to read. I was told once they'd realised what I was doing whoever was in charge of writing the responses for Cranney made sure they wrote the more difficult words phonetically.

He also used to look directly at me when attempting to deliver his replies. I'd yawn, twiddle with my phone etc and make it clear I had no interest in his response.

One time he was struggling with a difficult word (I think it might have been cat) and I was whispering to another councillor. He lost it and barked "YYYEEERRRNNOORREVEN LISTENING". He was right, I wasn't. I just wanted to help highlight how vile he is.

Wasting a few minutes of officers time like that wasn't ideal, but with people like Cranney you have to stoop to his level sometimes to expose him.

His mask slipped many times over the last few years.

The earth-shattering announcement has arrived. My flabber has never been so gasted.

It reads like it was written by a 10 year old. Spelling mistakes abound and sentences just seem to wither and die before they reach the point. The man really is as stupid as he looks.

Today I have resigned from the Labour Party. I was joined by regional president of the socialist Labour Party Frank Harrison to welcome me as a member of the Socialist Labour Party. I wish my friends and collogues in the Labour Party who I have worked with over the last 22 years {wish them what?}. Although I have fallen out with the national party, I have not fallen out with the good friends I have made.

I have attached my resignation letter and I will be on BBC look north tonight.

Dear Jeremy Corbyn Tom Watson, Fiona Stanton and the disputes department,

Having been unfairly suspended from the Labour Party on 15.04.2019 this has very much been the wake up call I have needed. It seems Racism, Homophobia, Anti-Semitism, Bullying, Harassment & Hatred are acceptable within the Labour Party., but being accused of delivering a leaflet for a Socialist Labour Party candidate & ward colleague is a step too far. I was saddened that an allegation against me was dealt with so quick when in fact racism has been ignored by the national party leadership and paid officials.

I have dedicated 22 years of my life to the Labour Party and I am sad to say I feel a huge sense of relief that I am leaving the party I once loved. I feel the Labour Party is unrecognisable and become so divisive and split.

I am sure there are some people who will celebrate my departure from the Labour Party, however I feel this is yet another clear warning sign that the Labour Party is quickly becoming a nasty and vile Party. Ignoring the hatred and letting the perpetuators run free within the party is effectively turning the party I was once proud of into a racist and facist party. Those who have ignored this vile turn in direction must face the consequences of breeding a 21st facist party. The national leadership, the general secretary and paid officials should be held accountable for allowing the Labour Party to evolve into a facist party.

I have been unhappy in the Labour Party for a number of months and the deciding point for me leaving was when I was suspended for allegedly delivering a leaflet for a true Socialist Labour Party candidate, while those who have been accused of racism have been left alone and free to continue to spread hatred. The last Hartlepool Labour Party meeting I attended was several months ago and I felt I was sitting in a National Front or a BNP meeting. There was so much hatred and abuse being spread in the room. I witnessed women members being heckled by a group of misogynistic men and left unchallenged I walked out of that meeting thinking what am I doing in this party. This immense feeling has grown and the Labour Party have done me a massive favour in the fact I can now walk away from this unpleasant echo chamber of this now awful Party.{ can anyone translate that last sentence for me?}

I feel the Labour Party has become a lost cause and a breeding ground for right-wing extremists. I have long been an anti-fascist and fought against injustice and inequality. I will continue this fight outside the Labour Party.

I have spent the last week since my suspension knocking on doors in the ward I have represented for 15 years. I have spoken to many, many residents about my thoughts to leave the Labour Party. After having a lot of discussion with those residents I now know it is the right thing to do. I have always supported the will of the residents I represent.

I emailed Jeremy Corbyn and Tom Watson to challenge them to deal with the racist scum in our party. I also expressed my sadness that an accusation of putting a leaflet through a letterbox is much more serious than racism and hatred. Both Mr Corbyn and Mr Watson failed to respond to me. They have let the Labour Party down by failing to act or respond to the many complaints they have had sight of. Shame on them for ignoring the growing fear or facist behaviour in the Labour Party.

I have watched my loved ones and friends being treated appallingly and no one has done anything to help. Labour North know the extent of the rot and choose not to do anything about it. They are completely complicit through their inaction and are as much to blame as the perpetrators who pedal this far right hatred in the Labour Party. Those who have not acted and dealt with the racism and hatred should face the consequences and be accountable.

The general secretary of the Labour Party has acted disgracefully by prioritising my suspension over a raft of serious complaints that have gone on for months. Her inability to deal with racism and antisemite behaviour has demonstrated the lack of commitments to resolving this awful episode in the Labour party history. She will be remembers in the history books for her inaction and her defiance{?????} against equality and diversity. She should be deeply ashamed of herself for suspending a hardworking party activist over racists and antisemites.

I will continue to serve the community I represent and remain a loyal Councillor. I shall now show the ward I serve more loyalty than the Labour Party is showing me.

My suspension is also unfair as recently Cllr Carl Richardson was suspended by the group whip for claiming around £60,000 and failing to declare this to the public and the Labour Party. Cllr Richardson's suspension was lifted within one hour by the regional director. Carl Richardson signed me up to the Labour Party and his greedy and deceitful behaviour is what turns people like myself away from Labour Party politics.

I leave behind some really good labour colleagues. The inaction of the Labour Party risks them also from walking away like I have. I am aware at least 3 more labour councillors are considering leaving in May.

Please ensure you remove my details from any database you hold. I should also expect that any personal information you hold on file regarding me will be returned to me.

It also means one less vote to keep CAB in charge.
This is hidden-cam footage of the pair of them discussing the consequences of this latest move....

Just in case it gets deleted here is the latest pic

and below the ones from his announcement.  It appears he has either deleted it or made it  'friends only' but he was too late. I grabbed the whole page and have my own copy.

I see Lee Whitbred (or as SAB calls him Lee Whitebread) sends his support from Liverpool. No sign of Jason yet, he normally instantly 'likes' everything the pair post!

Its him trying to minimise his triple chin. If you look at his FB he is obsessed with selfies that 'flatter' his figure. He  wants everyone to notice his new hair as well. Vain does not even come close...................
