Those responsible for running the town are totally oblivious to the problems caused by their decision making.........Do they actually know where Wagga is, all they need to do is role out the civic limo and take a drive around the town....Only then will the realise the problems.

If they venture down there in the civic limo, it'll either end up with four flat tyres, in the crusher or gift wrapped in old paper and plastic wrapping from a selection of locations around the country.
I suspect they'd class this as green recycling, funny how we get the scrapings from barrel, or should it be the battered skip, of green industries.
Drove along Coronation Drive earlier in the windy week to see an enchanting cascade of soiled paper and plastic making a wind assisted 'Charge of the Sh**e Brigade' towards the sea. No sign of a 'host of golden daffodils' swaying in the breeze to be seen.
Trouble is, you can't see it from their pet project of 'Twee Land' the pre-election power house to convince the electorate they're on the ball. Trouble is, the Vision waffling Incapabilty Brown of cool urban design is just re-doing what others did before him 25 years ago, no imagination required.
I await the public subscription statue to the Dear Leader with eager anticipation, but expect to see copies of his head on two decapitated statues of Ward Jackson  and Willy Gray, as insufficient funds and austerity intervened.
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.
