Mish Mash?????? Don't make me laugh. There has been piecemeal development for years and no sign  of a planning strategy whatsoever!
They killed Church Street when the legacy junkies decided to build the shopping centre. The fools should have realised that when they demolished Lynn Street, Church Street's reason for being there was gone. In a rush to build a shopping centre to an out of date format, they literally caused chaos which we're still having to rectify to this day.
The last people you let anywhere near planning are politicians.
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

It's rather pathetic if you ask me. People are clearly trying to (understandably) secure their properties with solid and secure doors, but it seems that the planning committee would prefer to see battered old wooden doors that are in keeping with the desired 'look'.
