thats, why they are practising litter picking
about all the shower, is good for :D
A councillor is an elected representative of their ward, not their political party!
Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment

Reading that, they haven't even decided on a use for it yet??????
Envision the scenario...
Imagine saying to your other half, "Let's buy a wrecked old pub and restore it"
Other half ..." Why, and anyway it'll cost a fortune!"
Smug mug " I dunno, but we aren't paying for anyway!"
Other half " Crack on then".

I see they have a name for another of their pet projects, they must spend hours thinking these things up. Pitiful.

With all the 'talent' in HCLP, they should be on the stage....the first one out of town, as my dear ol' dad used to say!  When you really cast a critical eye over Church Street, you realise that it's just a load of very old, pitiful buildings which are well past their best before date!  Never mind Grade 1 or 2 listed buildings....if they're dilapidated, not in use and the owners couldn't give a flying fig what happens to them, then HBC should have the legal authority to knock them down and charge the owners!  As the saying goes...'you can polish a turd....' , but some owners aren't even tidying up the outside of their buildings!  Yes, there are still some good restaurants and bars in Church Street and Whitby/ Tower street also, but that's about it really!
When we get rid of the SCABal / Con councillors and have people who actually care for the town, then maybe they will get strict with certain property owners and tell them in no uncertain terms what they HAVE TO DO...OR ELSE!  We can but dream!

Time hopefully, lots of time in the big house

Inspector Knacker

Realistically, what could they do when wheels come off ?
Signing on should be quite an experience.

That would make history, the first time a fly rolled it's eyes and started laughing!

That would be an interesting interview - One failed, jumped-up benefits clerk who used to brag about stopping peoples' benefits because he could, at the mercy of another benefits clerk who knows.

But we are forgetting  CAB has his Health company and SAB has his café in council premises. They won't need to sign on.... Yet.

Inspector Knacker

Should the leader of a Council be able to apply for such a post?
Was the cafe facility put out to tender?

Somehow seems very ironic that the shady have bought shades
