But then who can blame him jumping ship when he is going to be deselected. AND would you kowtow to CAB which is going to happen under Corbyn's leadership. Labour MPs will only represent Labour supporters and not the whole town. I wonder if Alan Clark knows what he is letting himself in for.

Looks as though we are in for a bye election so 2017 could turn interesting.

I only got a couple of paragraphs....... I can't afford the Times.... does he actually say he is wrapping in as MP ?

Can't see it myself. Quitting Labour and then accepting a job with the company he has spent much of last year criticising? I know he's a cynical, greasy pole climber almost completely devoid of principles but I don't think even he is that stupid.
