Double handy-man so to speak Not4me

C.B. I was talking about all their own manpower HBC trained up to install solar panels.

Did anyone have a copy of the Manor Res accounts?

christine blakey

The accounts are linked on the home page here.

I have no problem if the solar panel training is up to standard.

I have no problem if the price to customers is competitive.

I do have a problem if it knocks other good companies out by professing to be the only solar supplier you can trust.

What is notinshadow's view on that as it is definitely another area of concern in itself.

This just gets worse and worse.

Thanks for the location of the accounts and I will look.

As for solar panel and the council..
If they are trained to the same standard as others in that field, I would say I agree they should do it to their own buildings but not for commercial profit, as it gives them a great advantage on local business's that's unfair.

The good thing for small buainess's is that the council would come in so high on price each and every time the couldn't compete on a level playing field.

Stig of the Seaton Dump

HBC does appear confusing ...looking for work at the same time as contracting out so much.

Odd that Seaton front is being landscaped by an external company, not that I have strong feelings about it, just odd that there is nobody available on
the council's books that can use a shovel.

I don't believe it.

Funny you mention that..

The council used to/does rent a unit from Dawson's

All very cosy in the garden so to speak!
