I saw this and wondered when it would recieve a bit more  notice in Hartlepool.

I believe H'pool Nuclear power station is currently shut down whilst the cracks are investigated. The last report I read (in the Mail?) stated that the plant 'could' be on-line by the end of October in time for the winter demand. Does anybody have more up to date news?

Lord Elpus

There will be a report from the station director at the next HBC Neighbourhood forum on Wednesday 15th Oct at 10-00pm. in the Kremlin

If the plant is out of commission for more than the schedule maintenance cycle its really bad news for HBC as it loses £300,000 per month in business rates.

Still at least we have the Domes money to fall back on.

The Great Dictator

It wouldnt make a difference, we dont receive business rates anyway, it goes direct to government.
