Health 'Face the Public' Session

PRESS RELEASE

THERE'S an important opportunity later this month for people in Hartlepool to help shape future health services in their town.

Hartlepool Health and Wellbeing Board is holding its annual 'Face The Public' event on Monday 23rd June in the Council Chamber of Hartlepool Civic Centre in Victoria Road from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. There will be health information stalls to browse and tea and coffee from 4.30pm.

There will be a presentation on the progress made by the Partnership over the past year followed by discussion workshops to find out what people feel the Partnership could do to improve health services in the town.

There will also be an opportunity to put questions to the board members including Hartlepool Council, Healthwatch Hartlepool, Hartlepool & Stockton-on-Tees Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS England.

Councillor Carl Richardson, Chair of the Hartlepool Health and Wellbeing Board, said: "Health services are of the utmost importance for the residents of Hartlepool.

"The Face The Public event is a chance for people to hear about the work which the Partnership is doing and to shape its priorities for the year ahead. I hope people will make time to come along and take part."   

The format for the event will be:

4.30pm - 5.30pm : Registration, tea/coffee and health information stands.

5.30pm - 5.40pm : Welcome and presentation.

5.40pm - 6.40pm : Discussion workshops.

6.40pm - 7.30pm : Public questions.
