Anybody a bird watcher?

I parked near the burger wagon at B&Q the other day and spotter two birds. They were rather attractive but I can't find any definitive information.

They have a look of a blackbird but bigger with longer legs,a yellow, longer beak. The intriguing bit was their wings. Black/grey background with emerald, glittering highlights.

Any ideas?
