I see that Mr. Morton has closed another of his businesses - Eugene's in Park Road.
There are no notices on the premises (just a message that the coffee club were to meet in TJ Hughes), but the shutters were down when I walked passed at lunchtime today and there was no sign of activity inside. He cannot have had the place for more than a year, so not long enough to pass the Cranney measure of a successful business. Another scam in the making ?

aka The Staincliffe and the Domes, the businesses behind both have had more names than Cheryl Cole. Morton was one of those habitual company dissolvers that the council feigned their contempt for a couple of weeks ago for not paying business rates. Don't be surprised if it re-opens again in a week or two with a new jar of Nescafe.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Coincidentally I have seen him hanging out at Seaton bookies again.
Maybe trying to raise funds ?

I understand he has a horse racing company too.
If I was one of his horses I would be checking the side of the horse box to see if it says Findus.

The bailiffs were in 2 weeks ago, i'm surprised it took this long.

Despite going under, so to speak, the domes management have been sending out letters to members who cancelled direct debits after the domes deflated and were unavailable to members, threatening legal action bailiffs etc if account is not brought up to date....

I wonder if the collection agency, lawyers and other bottom feeders/ scavengers have been paid up front ?
