Bumped into one of my Councillors Paul Beck yesterday.  He invited me to the opening of the play area in Bishop Cuthbert on Saturday.

Perfect photo opportunity for the Labour Councillors before the elections.  Bet Mrs Belcher will be centre stage.

He also informed me that Kevin Cranney would be there....apparently he is Deputy Ceremonial Mayor .... A stand-in for a muppet!  Wonder if he get's the necklace off SAB??

Hope it pisses down.

Yea he and Jean Robinson have spent part of their ward allowances throwing this bash less that 2 weeks before the elections - not that they're electioneering or anything.  :o
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

It wouldn't be as sickening if either of them had done anything to make this happen.

Also unless locals read the Mail I'm unaware of any publcity for it, will it just be Labour hangers on?
