Wasn't she at a meeting with EDF to support one of the new power stations being given to Hartlepool?

No it was an act of cowardice as described by James O?Brian on LBC of the MPs who failed to turn up for the vote.

Our Jill showed her true colours by not turning up for the vote on the Commission report meaning she supported a fella who lied to Parliament and before to the Queen rather than abstain, vote for it or vote against it, she came up with the lame excuse she was otherwise engaged likewise the majority of her colleagues. The Mail have turned of the comments on their FB page, I wonder why ?

Anyone know what buildings this involves ?
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/23559439.ben-houchen-involved-row-hartlepool-asset-transfer/

The article specifies which buildings are covered. Having said that, I've also heard that this isn't a 'done deal' - just something under discussion.

It will be a done deal, General Election next year, the Tories will want to hang on to Hartlepool.
