Is there a reason why The Hartlepool Post doesn't have a presence on Facebook?

I know some users might have a problem with anonymity, but some of these stories deserve a wider audience.

I tried to share The Wynyard Effect on my page but the link didn't seem to work properly.

If there is a good reason, fine, but it's probably worth considering.

There is a link tom the HTH Facebook site on the front page; the Facebook site is little used at the moment, however!

Shouldn't the facebook page be promoted more?
i only found this site by accident.
Surely a bigger promoted presence on Facebook can only be good for The Hartlepool Post, and the good people of Hartlepool.

totally agree. The Post needs to be posted more often and more people encouraged to join.

There is a new Facebook site for The Hartlepool Post - a link is on the front page and below - you'll need to log in/request membership to use it - look forward to some interesting discussions!
