Found out about this at the central forum. It seems you CAN make a difference Afterall. See
Www.hartlepool.gov.uk/neighbourhood planning.  In the presentation there was a ref to another site. I didn't make a note as I thought is would be in the handout. You might find it on Pickles site as it is all part of the Localism Act. A bit involved but worth a read.

Got the distinct impression that the Cllrs didn't like it so it is probably a good thing - takes some powers away from them to give to the people.

Four areas currently in the process of submitting plans. Rural, Wynyard, Park and the Headland.

It needs serious consultation and involvement of all the people in the area.

We are supposed to have been consulted but the only requirement is to publish it on the Council's website. My impression is that they, the Cllrs have only been telling the people that they want to know, keeping the rest of us out of the loop.

Anybody know more, recommend you post on here.
