Let's see how long it takes, if it ever happens !
I assume by pulled down they mean they are waiting for the next ice age and a glacier flattening the building.
You would have thought the yobs that burnt down Tunstall Court to a state beyond repair would have found it by now, funny that.
Tunstalls value was in the land. Longscars 'value' is in staying a dump and blackmailing the council into paying over the odds to buy and demolish. I would think the owners would be heartbroken if it caught fire.. Shame really because they could have gone down the route that the filth-dumping firms used and just bought a few councillors donated to a councillors favourite charidee............!
Is Birotex connected to the Longscar Hall? Just noticed that they are going into administration. https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2405100 (https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2405100)
Bit of an odd one this. The company number is the same (03071088) but, according to DueDil, Birotex Limited was based in Manchester and was both set up and wound up in 1995. It's business was in public houses and bars so it sounds about right.
Duedil description:
Birotex Limited was incorporated on 21 Jun 1995. The company's status is listed as "Dissolved" and it had 2 directors at the time it closed. It was founded by Mr Barry Thompson Wilkinson, Mr Gary Wilkinson. Birotex Limited employed 50-99 people. Birotex Limited does not have any subsidiaries.
So, to answer the question - yes there is a link.
