From McLuckie to Price, to a new Police Commissioner who, immediately after election, places his Labour best mate into the £90,000 position as Chief Executive. Is there anything left to suggest that Cleveland Police is not rotten to the core and long passed the time when it became no longer fit for purpose?

Can we have a comment from the Hartlepool Councillor who considered his previous membership of the Police Authority to be like having a pass card for avoiding continuous drink-driving charges?
