Interesting to see Wrighty addidng his support to his fellow Labour MPs in calling for the Teesside Coroner to resign; more interesting that he managed to avoid commenting on the move by Middlesbrough Council to do away with the Hartlepool's own Coroners Office and merge it with Middlesbrough. This will, amongst other things, mean Hartlepool people in the middle of bereavement having to traip through to Middlesbrough for days to attend inquests. Looks like Wrighty is fully signed up to the Teesside City ''Vision;' with Middlesbrough at its heart.

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

It looks like the spectre of Middlesbrough promoting itself as the centre of an enlarged Teesside is on the move again, or is it a lot  farther advanced than we know.....?
If there is a move to do so, we're shafted, ...because there's no one to put the case for us.
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

If calling for someones resignation is all it takes to get rid of them.

I call for the resignation of our totally inefectual Member of Parliament.

Hartlepool has had 3 MP`s on the belt who have done nothing to improve the prospects of the town or the people who live in it, our latest incumbent does appear to have succumbed to the "Spectre of Tees Valley Unlimited", our Elected Councillors & Senior Officers (Employees) should remember what happened the last time we got lumped in with Cleveland County, & stay well out of the place.

Didn't I read on here that the Middlesbrough Coroner is well into his 80s and has a backlog bigger than the banks PPI claims?
