David Milliband has been paid £125.000 for fiftteen day's ' work ' for Sunderland Football Club it's criminal and they say crime doesn't pay, but apparently being a Labour Poitician certainly does though.

I'm with Tanks on this one. Milliband should not be using 'connections' gained through his time as Foreign Secretary for personal gain - which is what he is doing.

Whatever you do, don't read the Mirror then Perseus. Every third article is a 'Tory sold my grandmother' scare story. Another third are 'Labour MP calls for everybodys pay to double - unless you're a millionairre'.

They are indeed all at it. It doesn't matter which party they're are in, the culture is that they all look after each other. Just look at Patten at the BBC - a Tory appointed into a cushy post by Labour

This is 'the overclass' in action. It's a private club and everyone looks after each other whether it's a £450,000 pay off after 57 days disasterous work at the BBC or a disgraced MP finding himself appointed overnight as a Director of some multinational.

As i say, my point wasn't that i agree with it, just that the Daily Mail opted to say nothing about what he actually (seemingly) did for the money. Rightly or wrongly (wrongly in most peoples opinion i guess) he used his contacts to bring in £20 million a year to a 'business' in our region.

I feel £20 million a year would have been better spent sponsoring projects in Africa than sponsoring a fooball club.
