I did point out that the place has just refurbished its computer rooms which explained the appearance of the old desks on the pavement outside. It will be handy for Cranney when he's filling in his tax returns - I understand HMRC are running a sweep on what he comes up with

ah right - now we know. So the Owton Fens Community Association is now located in .....Seaton..... where the regeneration money is.

Incidentally, anyone thinking of sending their pride and joy to the Jutland Road 'ub to make use of the new facilities should perhaps consider providing protective headgear and kneepads. Apparently, one such urchin found himself being physically man-handled out of the building by the OFCA Manager, Hartlepool's very own Catherine Parr resulting in some nasty scrapes and scuffs for the young waif.

Anger management issues would appear to be a family trait.

VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
Do you have some available free time to volunteer, we are currently setting up the gardening project to help people who are elderly and unable to maintain their garden. The project could generate ongoing business opportunities and/or employment opportunities.
It is due to start in April, with the project to last till around October, any volunteers within the 16-29 age range would be able to benefit from our Youth Employment Initiative for various training courses, employment opportunities, job search, CV writing etc.
The intention is not only to make beneficiaries work ready but offer young people who are NEET or at risk, opportunities to access additional career choices, learning in a working environment will inspire people to succeed, activities include work experience on community projects, training and exploring ideas in enterprise and opportunities directly linked to their skills identified through initial and ongoing assessments.

Is this not Cranney trying to cash in on the Tees-wide employment initiative that the council has been put in charge of as it sounds very similar to one of his past aborted schemes? For each person taken on, those managing the scheme receive payment. There was never a chance that Cranney wouldn't home in on something like that like an exocet.
