This would be the Henry Wells who was thrown out of the family business for gross incompetence. It would be interesting to know what developments he has done, or which ones he has made a paper loss on.

Form: AD01 - Change of registered office address
REGISTERED OFFICE CHANGED ON 19/08/2016 FROM
FREDERICK HOUSE
DEAN GROUP BUSINESS PARK
BRENDA ROAD
HARTLEPOOL
TS25 2BW
EURO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LTD

Maybe like many other shady deals he has done the companies will be registered at this post box.

Think you'll find that's Jon Whitfields company also of Euro Security.
He started off in business with Teesside Alarms which went to the wall owing suppliers thousands.
He returned to his trade as Pipefitter for a few years then started Euro Security moving on to buying redundant Service Stations and Pubs which had closed. Initially he built flats on the land but sold the last one The Station in Seaton to Sainsbury's I believe.

He has no directorships registered listed on his Register of Interests
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Does he have his self proclaimed 'Property Developer' interest/proffesion/trade/job, on his register of interests ?

He declares nothing other his association with HBC, Cleveland Fire Authority and being a Trustee of a driving school instructors pension fund (Good Luck to them ::) )

The only property he declares is Hardwick Court.

On Thursday, he proclaimed himself as 'the man who built McDonalds' which is pushing reality to new horizons but it did trigger vague memories I have about Environmental Health breaches

As I recall Wells tried his hand at running a Tex Mex fast food joint on the site of the current MacDonald's next to Mecca Bingo.

He must have struggled because he claimed a reduction in Business rate because of lack of profitability, (as I recall he argued Cranney's 5 years to profitability logic) not long after that it closed.  I think the site was vacant for a long time before MacDonald's took over.  I would be surprised if the 'Odious Little t*a*' came out of that. business venture with pockets jingling.

It was originally a Fish and Chip Restaurant owned by Wells
I had a a Fish and Chip meal, decent actually, he then changed to a Wild West themed place.

The Great Dictator

He got lucky that day, when councillors refused the officers application to demolish the toilets and build McDonalds they needed somewhere to turn.

They signed a 20 year lease and took over the building on £60,000 a year rental, soon after with a new reliable tenant installed he sold the freehold for £1.5m.

Then he bought a new Porsche and a house at Wynyard, what was it Kylie once sang.................. :-*

Lucky yes, but not intelligent enough to know it. A Porsche, a house at Wynyard and playing the casinos convinced he was now 'a player'. Pretty soon he was down to being just another driving instructor and mixing with the wrong type of people to claw himself out of it.

Wells opened a Fish and Chip restaurant called Henry's... after daddy. It was shambolic! I worked there very briefly when I was 18. It had a take away section and a main restaurant section. Customers would come to the take away and ask if they were proper chips. We were told to say yes! We had boxes of McCain frying chips behind us! People aren't stupid... you can tell a real chip from a frozen chip. One day a family ordered pizza from the menu. The place had NO ovens! Just a fish frying range and a microwave. I was told to microwave the pizza  :-\ The family wasn't happy.

It soon went belly up, after a possible rebrand I think and McDonalds franchise later took it over.
