The outcry against DISC's plans to build accommodation units for druggies and ex-cons in Andersons old bakery in Foggy Furze seems to have provoked a few shenanigans. At the public meeting recently held, Cranney denied any knowledge of the DISC plans but then had to admit it was a fib - he had in fact attended a council meeting where it had been discussed.

The most brazen though was fellow councillor Kaylee Sirs who had gone around the local doors telling everyone that the meeting, which had been part-organised by PHF's Darren Price, had been cancelled - something she was forced to apologise for later.

Labour's third Foggy Furze councillor, CAB is worried though. He's now talking about using council money to buy the building off DISC if they change their mind.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

I would have thought both case would go against the Councils Code of Conduct for councilors.....but do we expect anything else from "Members of The Mob"............ of course no.

Imagine a building run by DISC housing drug users, where someone was bollock naked shooting up on heroin. There is one in town centre area where this happens and that is FACT.
I don't know the exact location for the centre but never the less its happening.Social workers frequent the place to check on the residents, but nothing changes,so basically the status quo stays the same and they don't get better.

This is outrageous - if you have any shame, shame on you. I pity you with your sorry excuse for a belief in local democratic process. You should both think on your position, recall should be allowed. Pathetic

" I would be quite happy to take these properties off their hands."

Bit of a telling phrase, that one and a clear over-use of the first person pronoun under the 'new governance arrangements', which as we've been reminded of time and time again, are far more democratic than the previous arrangements.

It was all about jealousy in the end, wasn't it Christopher?
