I gather Mr Wells wasn't flavour of the month at the last meeting of Park Residents Association. The plan for houses at Tunstall farm comes soon after he opposed the neighbourhood plan for the area which was largely put together by the association - still there's always the park fountain and his Niramax/Seneca/Euro Properties/Musgrave pals.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

I believe he brushed them off as a 'small unrepresentitive group' (I.E.  anyone who dares to go against his developer pals) in the Mail at the time. Wonder if they are just finding out who Wells actualy represents-himself!
