Six months have to elapse before a proposal can be voted on again
SteveL - Wouldn't rejecting the allowance increase be a different proposal to the initial proposal - the increase could stay "on the books" they are voting to reject the receipt of it - in 6 months time they could vote to have it changed formally to the old rate.

No, Christopher wants the money so he'd use the 6 months rule to block it and Devlin would back him up.

Maybe if it's brought up in the New Year - that would satisfy the 6 month rule and also serve as a timely reminder leading up to May 2018

This is not just about the 31% its about a Labour/Con alliance that is seriously screwing this town.

There are two possible answers, offer a viable alternative to the Labour Councillors who are up for re-election or get Hartlepool Labour Group to smell the coffee and get rid of the problem, they know who the problem is better than most

The next meeting isn't until 7th September so there's plenty of time to figure out the next appropriate move.

Trouble is, they seem to be Teflon coated. Even more astonishing is how no one seems prepared or even capable of challenging them.
They just roll on and everyone looks on and does nothing.
