It will be interesting to see the NMRN accounts next year when they include Hartlepool.
They appear to be a transparent so we will find out if the HBC multi-taskers (Alexander and Akers-Belcher) are drawing a significant salary.

I do wonder how they deal with conflicts of interest when one is supposed to police the other over matters like planning, environmental controls etc. ?

I also would have thought that running a council and running a museum were both full time jobs in themselves.

I suppose the town must have a very gifted Socialist and Christian.
Apologies if I made you spit your tea out at that statement.

Was this directorship declared on his list of interests at HBC?  It would be interesting if someone did some digging.

I read somewhere here that the Pink One was buying some megahouse up near Worset Lane......whereever it is ....how's it being funded?

Again sorry if some tea spat on reading that...just realised how daft a question it is.....we all suspect how they all fund their life styles at the Kremlin.

It seems everywhere you look in this town if there's a trough of money for "development/funding/regeneration" SC,LS,GA and KC have their snouts in the trough.

The register of Councillors Interests is readily available on the HBC list of councillors.

It makes some interesting reading, especially the councillors who appear to have 'no interests'..... others listed as 'self employed'..... to be blunt HBC councillors register of interest aren't very informative.

others listed as 'self employed'.

AKA unemployable.

I guess it is somewhat naive of us to expect any form of truth from the Pink One and his crew, still no closure regarding lying Ste or Hannibal Cranney .

BresslawoffoftheBunker

Can you explain the 'pink' inference ?

mk1

I know I got the subtle 'pink/navy' allusion in the opening posts. It appears some did not!

BresslawoffoftheBunker

I'm afraid I missed it.  Anyone care to explain ?

Land Phil

Pink paper used for "confidential" information as it didn't work on old fashioned photocopiers.

Used by Councillors to hide facts from the public.

You're becoming very tedious Bresslaw Bunker chap. Are all these people that you come on to defend fellow members of your local lodge, Brother Bresslaw Bunker chap, or just very good friends, or acquaintances rather, of them?

Do I really have to?

Blue = Navy

Pink= as explained above - ok I was showing my age but pink papers....try photocopying something written on pink paper...additionally a certain taxi driver I use when travelling reported seeing Mr and Mrs AB wandering around Tescos, sometime this summer with badly bleached blond hair, wearing badly fitting pink shirts bursting at the waist, and shorts.....

See image - appears to wears his heart on his chest so to speak.

Or is he one of them? :)

Bresslaw will now be doing a Dick Dastardly, about to pounce triumphantly in a fit of moral indignation but foiled again.

Not sure it was  doing a 'dick' rather than just being one! He was  confident his standard  whiny reply  'I don't know what you mean. Can you explain' was going to start a Mrs Murton style  heated debate.

I asked, Land Phil answered.  I shall ignore the rest of the comments

Business as usual then.
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.
