Title: Interesting choice of words
Post by: jeffh on April 22, 2018, 06: PM
On today's Sunday Politics, when asked about the upcoming Local Elections, the member for Easington said Labour seats would be safe from Berwick to Blackhall, which I believe is just north of Hartlepool!

Personally I don't think we'll see a radical shift in the number of seats labour hold in Hartlepool. They MIGHT even gain one or two. But what'll be interesting is the margin of victory per ward. Outside of a general election year it's been haemorrhaging for some years now. Labour used to win local seats by a thousand, then by the hundred. Under the SCABAL most will be won (or lost) by less than 100 votes.

Thing is we are still going to be run by the same s**t,and a couple more. Even if it's 1 vote or a thousand.
