Hartlepool and Middlesbrough Councils need to go bust......Residents might then get an inquiry into what has been happening with both councils finances.....

It is the same with any Council no matter what Party is in charge. Lib/Lab/Con they all  look after themselves first, party second and anyone else is a distant third. I am afraid  Corbyn Labour will be no different. They all proclaim a 'New Dawn' when first elected but it is just the same old people in the same old system. It may be that only parts of a Party are corrupt but in every case the uncorrupted will conspire with the malfeasants to keep up the original crime hidden away from the public gaze.  It would be more realistic to  aim for controlled corruption rather than fooling ourselves that we can eradicating it completely.
