Inspector Knacker

Drove past this morning and we commented on the height of the grass on the field outside the houses where the kids usually play. It's two foot high in places and yet the strip that leads down the banks has been neatly trimmed. Oh the irony.
I wonder also if anyone has noticed the 'beach' on the traffic islands in Burn Road outside the entrance to Tesco. The blown soil has developed a sloping beach with grass growing, not to mention what appear to be assorted bits of scrap  prieces the road

Thanks for bringing this up Ik (Howard Street). Tim & I went on one of the regular estate walk-abouts with the housinh officer for the Headland a few days ago and this was raised then. It's been reported and we'll hopefully see it cut soon.
