Who authorised the Propaganda comment, It isn't up the officers of the council to explain the political situation the council faces......

They could have included an explanation of the £600k wasted on the Cafe in the Crem and Inspirations Garden centre...... but haven't.
The cafe in the crew always stands out to me.
Whose idea was it ?
What business has a council opening such premises?
Are Councillors allowed to indulge in financing whimsical projects?
What was the experience in this field of the the originator?
How is such expenditure defended whilst criticising government 'cuts' ?
Should the unqualified be even allowed to speculate on such projects ?
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

All perfectly reasonable question that could and should be asked of our councils CEO and Leader, we obviously wouldn't get a straight answer, a bit like Carpetgate or The Medal.

For me the most important point is.......

Should the unqualified be even allowed to speculate on such projects ?

The CT payer got off lightly with the £600k for the Cafe in The Crem, especially when you consider the ditching of the town plan and the purchase of The Big Tin Shed....those two decisions cost the CT payer around £3 million pounds.

Were the people who thought up those ideas qualified in town planning or land management, will we ever find out who proposed those actions ?
