Four senior managers in Teesside NHS services received 'exit packages' totalling £765,000 after abolition of PCTs

Same old story turning into a national issue. If the level of pay-offs is bad enough then worse is the fact that many of these same people have simply walked back into the NHS into different but equally high-paid positions. It's unclear as yet if this is true of people leaving the local PCTs....no one wants to say.

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Blame it on the Unions and the cronyism that exists in the Public Sector.

These people are managers so i can't see them being in any way affiliated to a Union,so don't talk b*****ks.

Oh dear. Them and us again. Perhaps this is the problem with the NE - perpetuating the Class War.

Anyway, managers had their  'unions' before the blue collar workers.  Nowadays, particularly in the Public Sector, many managers belong to the same union as their workers.

Good News is ... we will have our Super Hospital in less that 3 1/2 years.... so no expensive pay-offs expected here
