Wouldn't it be just the height of cynism if we were to hear that, having decimated Hartlepool Hospital,  Chief Executive Alan Foster, had walked away from the Hospital Trust? If it were to happen, I'm sure people would read into it that any plans for the new hospital had now been abandoned and Foster was running away from the inevitable flak.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

The Great Dictator

Why are we paying him £5000 a week ?

If Mr Foster did happen to leave the NT & H NHS Trust, it would be an anniversary of sorts, he was appointed in September 2007 so it will be 6 years as now.

Most people would think he has been on a nice little earner in that period, his salary in reputed to be in the region of £250,000 a year, so overall it amounts to approx £1.5 Million + his Pension entitlement of ? ? ?

It would be a pity if we didn`t have a brand new "World Class Hospital" to remember him by... Thats if he does leave of course ? ? ?

Just checking if we were being monitored. Apparently within an hour or two of my original post an internal e-mail was sent around the Trust saying that there was no truth in the rumours that Foster was leaving.

Have they moved treatment for paranoia to North Tees yet?
