Perseus, I think its great that the town Mayor (politics and phobias aside) is raising funds for cancer charities, proper, bonafide cancer charities as well and not lining the pockets of associated clan.

I say keep up the fund raising.

Whoever the ceremonial Mayor/Chairman is, they will have nominated charities and at least this year this idiot has moved away from those either he or his councillor mates have a personal stake in.

Last year, for example, those benefitting included NYPD which is part of Manor Residents and, from the e-mails we receive, its main achievement appears to be providing the equipment to enable the copious pirating of DVDs.
