Worse than paying someone less than the minimum wage is the thought that the same Labour Councillors have taken part in an exercise to fight against the possibility of having to pay the employee what she was legally due to her. . . even to the point of forging signatures.

There just aren't the words . . .

There doesn`t seem to be much in the way of caring, sharing, socialism about the SCAB`s & their disciples in the way they have turned a blind eye to the disgraceful behaviour that Mrs Gooding has had to endure to get justice from Wilcox & MRA.

steveL

It looks like she forged the signature on a fake contract of employment but she also made a false entry into the MR 'postbook' which the judge rumbled as it didn't match up with the date on the envelope.

She is now to be investigated by the local labour Party Whip - Stephen Akers-Belcher who just happens to be a Trustee of Manor Residents. A few weeks ago he was telling everyone at MR that everything was hunkydory and to ignore 'scurrilous; stories on local web sites.

Wilcox is refusing to accept the judgement and says she intends to appeal again.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

testing times

She says that she is going to appeal again. It isn't going to happen, I hope, but the fact that she is considering it and putting Mrs Gooding through yet more stress is surely a sign of the sheer wickedness of this awful woman.

She and all of the Trustees should all resign immediately.

How is it possible that she can even think about appealling again, let alone being legally allowed to do it?

She really is lower than a snakes belly.

She should put her hands up and settle whats due to Mrs Gooding, then hang her head in shame and crawl back under her rock.

She's a fecking disgrace.  >:(

With another three cases pending and a barrister costing about a grand a day someone needs to step in now and sort this farce out. This women is obviously so deep in the s***e that she can't back down now.

I suppose even The Mail can`t ignore the decision that Judge Buchanan came to on Friday about Wilcox & MRA, it`s a pity that the editor didn`t adopt the same sort of application a long time ago.

That pair of creeps S & C Akers Bullsh*tters have been defending what has been going on with Wilcox & MRA & Wilcox / Cranney & WC(N/E) for months, it will be interesting to see how they attempt to blag their way out of the Massive Hole thay have dug for themselves over the last 12 months or so ( Whoops ) forgive me.... Ged the Oxford man Hall had a turn on the shovel as well.... I take it, it was Oxford Street  ::) ::) ::)

It would appear that 2 Hartlepool Councillors have now been mentioned in "Dispatches" by Judges for behaviour that is below that we should expect of our elected councillors, the same 2 have been the recipients of an awful lot of ratepayers money over the years, how do "The Mob" square that circle i wonder ???

All credibility has gone south for the labour group in Hartlepool, from our elected "Member" down over. ::) ::) ::)

Ohhhhh Yes

Deep in Sh*te, i wonder if she is attempting delay the payment to Mrs Gooding because MRA can`t lay there hands on £9000....... £9000 that incidently could have been used on the services that MRA are supposed to provide to Residents of the Manor.

The point about the "Trustees" is largely irrelevant as "The Dear Leaders" consort is one of them & he won`t want a Cat Fight if he has to disicipline "The Rotund One"

On the 3rd of may I received a letter and an email from Tilly Bailey & Irvine that they were acting on behalf of mrs, and that 4 applications for review had been filed with the ET. I also filed a letter to both by email of my objection to all 4. In the further particulars of their response, they claimed they had a contract of employment signed by me. I requested a copy. It is a pre fabricated document incorrect in several ways, one of them being my start date. I was employed elsewhere at the time. A Review hearing for 28th june was allowed to consider whether it was just and equitable to allow these applications, considering that they were all made out of time. I prepared three bundles all the same of my evidence. and my witness statement.  I personally delivered one copy to Tilly Bailey on 21st june. By Monday the 24th Tilly Bailey were no longer representing mrs . I was informed by Tilly Bailey by email. if they were following their code of conduct I commend them. Tilly Bailey in their email informed me that another company was now acting for mrs.  Yesterday before the hearing their solicitor gave me another contract of employment, this one having the correct start date. he then proceeded to offer a settlement. I politely...... told him what his client could do with their settlement. You know what happened during the proceedings, but what I want to say is this, im an army child with a wonderful army upbringing. I was taught to treat people with respect at all times and be polite, but some people have under estimated me. Ive had to represent myself, even if id had the money to get someone I would not have. I can stand there and tell the truth for myself, even though my biggest fear is speaking to a group of people. And I didn't do this for the money. I sometimes despair of this town, this country, and most of all I worry for my grandchildren, just what kind of world are we living in nowadays when people treat others the way they do.

Perseus is right. You are a brave lady. Stand your ground pet. You've got the support of the town.
You will eventually get what you are entitled too.

well done Linda... be interesting to see what happens with the rest of the cases now going forward against  AW and MRA , if they cant pay wages now, or ok do pay but upto 3 weeks late where is the money going to come from... its the poor workers within MRA that will suffer for the likes of AW wont be rattled by this at all, for whatever her downfall be either the sack and dismissal from MRA or prison she will still get her 3 meals a day and a nice warm bed............ :-[

According to the recent audit, there is enough money in the bank to pay Lynda now . . . . and there's always the alternative

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

This is a woman so thick she did not realise a letter would be postmarked and  would prove she was a liar/forger.
A woman so stupid she did understand you need to put a 1st class stamp on a letter if you want next day delivery.
The woman is  a mor*on and it is frightening to think such a half-wit has been given over a million quid.
It might be relevant to remind  ourselves just exactly what type of conspiracy she has been arrested and bailed for-would  you believe it involved backdated/forged emails. Isn't that a coincidence!

An Interesting quote from a Tweet on the Front Page......... I wouldn`t be at all surprised if Judge Buchanan doesn`t report Wilcox`s attempt at forgery to Clevelands finest, especially if he is aware of the other cases being brought by MRA employees

"During the Tribunal the employer had sought to rely upon documents that he had submitted in support of his case. This included a contract of employment, which the employee had claimed never to have received, and a letter of warning apparently signed by the employee"

"The difficulty for the employer was that the employee was able to produce documents bearing her signature which differed from those supplied by the employer. As such there is perhaps little surprise in the Tribunal finding in the employees favour".

"Indeed when contacted by the Police the employer made full admissions that he had forged the documents, had attempted to influence the judgement of the Tribunal in this manner and as such was guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice".
