I see that the usual coven of Pixies have been out in force on the Mails fb page slagging of the Indie Party........

Would any of them like to tell us where they have been over the 6 years or so the SCABAL have been 'governing' the town, I don't recollect any of them attending council meetings, or asking questions of their Labour representatives.

Did any of them call for action to be taken against SAB when he was sacked for GIM, did any of them question the abandonment of the £1.5 million town plan, or any of the other multi million pound clusterucks that were done in labours name.

Not one of them are any different from the parasitic bunch currently running the council and if you think any differently you must be deluded.

Really don't understand why those who're so faithful to traditional party politics fail to understand the independent sector. Where there's no whip, those who operate under the party umbrella are free to vote/act according to the needs of their individual wards. Simple as that.

Who amongst the Independent councillors has had more parties than UnknownUser ? I am aware that Shane Moore was formerly a member of the Tory party, but if UnknownUser is referring to Councillor Moore......He must be a very skinny person.

As for the "Not one of them are any different from the parasitic bunch currently running the council and if you think any differently you must be deluded" Comment.......I am certainly not deluded, i am however pragmatic.......Non of them bear any resemblance to those labour councillors who are currently running the town and anyone who thinks so is definitely 'Deluded'

Of our current Coucillors who have ever been in responsible for managing a budget running into millions of pounds every year. One is a failed business man, some of the rest have been living on Benefits for years, one is a proven liar sacked for industrial misconduct then failing to turn up at the appeal.
For me the new party can't be any worse than the current incumbents in the Council, give them the opportunity.

Bang on Fred - my main concern is in Labour claiming they are the majority party after the May elections.  There is a real chance that 3 Labour seats will go Independent - Moneybags, Doc Pothole and Robinson.
That will see the split as -
Labour - 15
Independent - 15
Conservatives - 3
If all the Independents don't combine to form the new Union then Labour will argue that they are still the majority party with the Independent Union having 5, Conservatives 3 plus 10 individuals - so no change.  Looking on the bright side in the leadership challenge - if they vote the same as last time and Barclay, Belcher and Truman are replaced by anti SCABs then it's goodbye Hartlepool - hello Brighton.
