Is there another independent standing in burn valley other than J Lauderdale?

I've just found out that not only did he take the increase in allowance after voting against it, but for the second time I am hearing rumours of formal allegations and not for the first time regarding the councillor and some 'unsavoury' relationships he has had with a certain demographic of people in the past. If there is even a shred of truth in this we need an independent councillor to step in or Labour could take another seat and further feather their nests
