Like Cleveland, the A66 corridor will be where the money goes, we are just there to bulk up the numbers. Nothing's changed, we as a town are being stripped of all our services from hospitals to courts, the very essence of what makes us an independent entity to becoming a dormitory backwater dependent on others.
Thanks to a dim/ gullible representation we end up a backwater.
Even the projected jobs bonanza (heard it all before) will pass us by as actually getting there ain't easy and public transport a joke.
We've been royally shafted and you have to seriously question why those who approved this marriage of madness and it's so obviously predictable outcomes were never apparently seen.
Any politician trying to sell this as something good for the people of Hartlepool must operate in a parallel universe.
What motivates these politicians ?
