so the country is in lockdown: because the government is as much use as the council all this could have been stopped a while back 

To be fair Kev, the government, any government is guided by the scientists and medical advisors, to ignore their advice would be suicide. Whereas our previous council appear to have been advised by the Marx Brothers, of the Groucho/ Harpo tendency.
