They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

I am sure that many of you will join myself and many others in remembering our fallen tomorrow. Parades will start to Victory Square and Redheugh Gardens in the morning from 10:30.
I would welcome you all to attend a service in St Hilda's church prior to the parade on the Headland from 09:00.

Armistice, Shane - Armistice
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

We attended the service on the headland it was very dignified 'as it should be' in my own mind far better than the cenotaph, we'll be going back next year. God willing.

The nine bugle's playing sounded great 'and in tune'

Popped into the Heugh Battery.

H.B.C should erect Brown Signage for visitors to find it, just an idea.
