Title: Radio 4 - The Year the Town Hall Shrank
Post by: steveL on October 31, 2012, 10: AM
You may be interested in a programme scheduled for tomorrow night (Thursday 1st November) at 9:00 pm on BBC 4 entitled THE YEAR THE TOWN HALL SHRANK.

It is about the dire straits Stoke-on-Trent council is in - they voted to do away with the Mayoral system.

Is this the state of things to come for Hartlepool!

Stoke council has been one of the worst councils for 30 years, the local paper is brilliant, its like Private Eye.

Michael Sassy is the editor and takes no sh*t from anyone.

The corruption there is embedded and always has been, regardless of who runs the place..

I've checked the schedule and at 9pm it says its that business programme The Bottom Line. Is that the right programme?

The Radio Times has it definitely scheduled (and given a 'pick of the day' rating) for 9 p.m. Thursday Nov. 1st - it's on BBC4 though, not the radio.
