oh this is getting entertaining now.

Nigel Farage has now called for UKIP's only MP, Douglass Carswell, to be thrown out of the party....and if it doesn't happen, financial backer Arron Banks has said that he will stand against Carswell in the next General Election.

This is all about Farage not getting his 'expected' Knighthood. It seems (despite the denials) that Carswell  refused to lobby for Farage and even advised against it.

Now if there is one thing Farage craves more than anything else it is to become one of the Political Elite. Though he tells his followers he despises the system his whole life has been spent trying to become part of it. He desperately wants the  title 'Sir' and then he can stop pretending he likes 'fags & a pint' and no longer has to associate with the oiks.

UKIP-party of the common man and prepared to cut its own throat in order to get Farage a seat in The Lords.

I liked Carswell's tweet about Farage's rejection. 'Knight night'. Very witty.

I think Farage deserves a knighthood.

He certainly would be better than some of the old farts who were on that new series last night about the lords.
