Interesting thought on the new anti-union legislation currently being brought in by the Tories. The new rules will mean that a union calling for strike action will need to secure ballot-box support of 50%+ of its membership to prove that it has a mandate for such action. The Tories were able to form a Government and so bring in such draconian measures, after securing the votes of just 24% of the total electorate.....oooops!
