another step towards police state

You start off with the phrase "if people aren't doing anything wrong they have nothing to worry about" used to justify the fact that UK citizens are the most monitored in the Western World and sooner or later you have a police state.
Now we have moves by the Government to monitor all on-line activity in a new bill currently before Parliament. Just another step towards the final destination.
