Use the place regularly, drove past today and cars being turned away because it's lunch time. Now this puzzles me, every time I visit the place and report to Checkpoint Charlie, there's either one saunters out from inside while conducting some irrelevant discussion with two others in side or they're all stood outside when you drive. There's usually one from the Gulag who's cleaning up around the skips.
Surely it's not beyond their ability to organise a staggered lunch time for the staff so it remains open. I cannot see any reason to close for a lunch portion whatsoever.
In the real world away from HBC they would have to stagger their breaks, the tip would be expected to remain open, and there would ne NO charges for using the facility.
Stopped using it and now go to Haverton.
Only in Hartlepool would you be expected to pay more for less.
Nooooooo, not Haverton. Went there once with my youngest, she said it was like monkey tennis. She had a point. ;D
