Title: Odeon bus shelter
Post by: tankerville on May 11, 2013, 10: AM
I've just walked my dog past here this morning 'utter carnage' the shelter has been completely destroyed the only thing left is part of the framework, glass strewn everywhere.

The sad thing is this has only been repaired within the past two weeks.

Someone must have seen this It's only round the corner from Hartlepool Police H/Q.

Maybe if police resources could be placed into the community instead of policing private property SHOPPING CENTRE. MARINA. it might not have happened.

Or is it just the mentality of Hartlepool Youth/Kids/Adults who have nothing to do other than cause wanton vandalism on this scale?.

It would take time to do this so plenty of people must have witnessed it so how is it that no one thought to phone the Police?* delete as appropriate

Another unreported crime which allows Cleveland Police to say that crime is falling at a record rate when everyone knows different.

The Linear Park in Thornton street has twice had  shrubs and plants replaced because vandals ripped them all out. The Council gave up and  replaced the plants at the St Paul's Road end with some 'astro-turf' to make it a Kid's mini play area.
Over the last week it has gradualy been cut up and stolen. Over half has vanished and it won't be long before it is all gone.
Back to the drawing board............
