Police-less Town

Are people in Hartlepool aware of just how few police officers are based in the town, the shop on the Fens were my wife works was targeted by 4 shoplifters on Thursday morning, within a 30 minute period the shop was hit by the thieves, 1 toe rag did a runner with over £70 quids worth of bacon, cheese and gammon.... cctv images showed it was a regular 'User' of the shop............ shortly after the theft he was seen sitting on a wall close to Fens shops..... the police were contacted ..... they didn't have enough man power to send an officer up and arrest the thief.

According to a lady my wife spoke to yesterday, Tesco had been cleaned out of sirloin steak, she had gone in to buy sirloin, but ended up with Rump.......
