Hi everyone, first post and please forgive my ignorance and lack of political knowledge however i am interested in the way the town is currently being run.......,,,are there local elections here on May 2nd? Doesn't seem like it....

Not in Hartlepool; you will have to wait unti 2014 for that. We're the odd ones out though -  a quirk of the boundary changes and the all out elections last year. They seem to be taking place in a lot of other places.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Hi Steve,

Yeah, i was looking online and noticed a lot of other places were having them, but not us.
