Who Cares Contract

I see that the Cabinet decision to put the extension of this contract out to tender has been brought back to Cabinet with a less-than-subtle suggestion that they think again. The Cabinet appear to have stood their ground but I suspect this will go on the back burner till May when Labour officially take over at which point, don't be surprised if this is quickly over-turned.

I don't know why Dave Stubbs doesn't simply walk round with a red rosette on his jacket.

Stubbs was given a fat salary increase just in time for his final salary pension calculation when he was already well past his sell-by date. You don't think such things come without a price, do you?
